Information Management Services

The goal of the Information Management Services (IMS) department at EXPLORER™ Software Solutions Ltd. is to help clients work smarter, faster, and with fewer errors. The IMS department staff acheive this goal by bringing years of experience to the provision of services such as the following:

  • Providing business analyses of clients' internal processes and procedures at the time of implementation

  • Providing pre- and post-implementation anaylyses of CS*EXPLORER©'s electronic conversions, upgrades, and major releases

  • Assisting in third-party software integration to allow for electronic communication between CS*EXPLORER© and exploration, drilling, production, engineering, marketing, and accounting systems. (Note: This service includes setting up custom rental interfaces, cheques, and road use invoice interfaces.)

  • Project managing the implementation of existing land systems into CS*EXPLORER©

  • Providing clients with custom, ad-hoc, and CS*EXPLORER© reporting

  • Assisting in disposition projects by electronically adding a disposition record, amendment/remarks, and a cross-reference to sale agreements, as well as terminating contract, mineral, surface, and well files

  • Converting rights held information to a structured rights held format

  • Implementing CS*EXPLORER© Well Loader, which uploads data from a third-party source into the CS*EXPLORER© Wells module

  • Analyzing data within all CS*EXPLORER© modules in order to provide a report on data quality and consistency for electronic clean-up

  • Electronically removing unused business associates and validation codes from CS*EXPLORER©

  • Upgrade-testing at client sites

  • Providing on-site client support
