CS*JointInterest© is an add-on to the CS*EXPLORER©
Contracts module. It enables users to summarize, maintain, and report on all joint
interest agreements such as service and facility (i.e. CO&O) agreements. Service
and facility agreement templates reside within the Contracts module of the CS*EXPLORER©
application and, therefore, depend on the same set of validation tables, well tables, and
the Business Associate (vendor) table as other contract documents. Maintenance and browse
user access to CS*JointInterest is controlled through the security functions
of CS*EXPLORER©.
Notable Features
- Relationships between documents are easily created using the
same process as in other CS*EXPLORER© modules (Contracts, Mineral, Surface,
and Wells). Such relationships allow the land, operations, and accounting personnel
immediate access to inter-related land and joint venture/operations documents.
- Within CS*JointInterest©, system-generated e-mail notifies the necessary
group when changes have been made to a service agreement. In addition, a Notification of
Change report helps users identify changes within agreements for a specific period of
time. The report indicates the record altered, what type of service record it was, the
date of change, the record producer, and the record processor. The system can also create
historical records of changes to producer and processor records within a single service
agreement.
- Users of CS*JointInterest© have access to all of the administrative
functions in the CS*EXPLORER© base product, including code changes and mass
updates.
- Well relationships within service agreements are built for owner company wells and are
handled through the Service Location window. This window is also where producer and
processor well information and relationships are added. Non-owner wells and locations need
not reside in the owner company's well table, but are stored in a separate table instead.
